Together, the school and families, share a common commitment and responsibility to support each child’s individual progress, providing them with opportunities and support for their wider personal development and academic achievement.
The most important part of the transition process and the focus of both the New Intake Evening and the Induction Days are:
- developing the relationship between the tutor, student, and their families;
- integrating year 6 students into their new tutor groups;
- make new friends with students from a wide range of primary schools;
- getting familiar with having a wide range of subjects and teachers.
The Induction Days will be on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th June.
